What is it?

  • Unimate: Yerba mate is a plant species of the holly genus ilex native to South America. Naturally rich in antioxidants and nutrients, yerba mate has been traditionally used to promote mental clarity, endurance, appetite control, and an improved mood. A rich source of chlorogenic acids, theobromine, mate saponins and antioxidants. It can provide an energy boost due to it’s high caffeine content.

  • Balance: Think fiber and a lot of it. Balance is a blend of soluble fibers, plant-derived polysaccharides, vitamins, and minerals. Fiber is used to help support digestive health and helps maintain cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Fiber will curb your appetite in between your meals.

What exactly am I doing?

  • Intermittent fasting: an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating. There are a few different methods:

    • The 16/8 method: Restrict your daily eating period to only 8 hours a day, such as 10am-6pm. Then you fast for 16 hours in between.

    • Eat-Stop-Eat: This is where you would fast for 24 hours but only once or twice a week.

    • The 5:2 diet: Consume only 500-600 calories on two nonconsecutive days of the week and eat normally the other five days.

  • These products are to help support you during intermittent fasting. We recommend speaking to your healthcare provider before intermittent fasting to ensure it is right for you.

How often should I drink it?

  • We recommend that you start your day while fasting with Unimate.

  • Before consuming your largest meal, use Balance about 15 minutes prior or with that meal.

  • You can consume up to 2 Unimate and 2 Balance in a day.

    TIP: Only use half a packet to ease yourself into use for the first week or two.

Are there side effects?

This is to be used in conjunction with intermittent fasting, diet, and exercise. YOU have to put in the work to see results.
